OK folks! What does every good Super Bowl Party need to be a success (besides beer and bean dip)? If you answered “Specialty Cocktails!” then you, my friend, know how to throw an awesome shindig! Can I come too? In honor of the two great teams featured in the biggest American sporting event of the year, I have whipped up some tasty (and easy to make) Super Bowl Cocktails for 2016 – the Panther Pride and Peyton’s Last Stand. Embracing the team colors of the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos, you just can’t go wrong with these tasty concoctions. Try them out and let me know what you think!

Peyton’s Last Stand
Makes 1 drink
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ ounces fresh orange juice
- ¾ ounce pineapple juice
- ½ ounce Grand Marnier or Cointreau
- ¼ ounce grenadine (Please, please, please make your own grenadine. It’s so easy to do and makes a HUGE difference in the flavor of your cocktails. I even posted a recipe last year, so click here to try it out.)
- 3 to 4 ounces sparkling wine or prosecco
- Glass: Champagne flute or coupe glass
- Garnish: fresh blueberries on a cocktail skewer
Directions:
Pour the orange juice, pineapple juice, Grand Marnier/Cointreau, and grenadine into an ice filled cocktail shaker. Cover and shake vigorously for approximately 10 seconds. Strain into a champagne flute or coupe. Top off with sparkling wine/prosecco. Garnish with fresh blueberries on a cocktail pick and drink while watching what will most likely be Peyton’s Manning’s last football game.
